Log #001 : Cost and Benefits
Imagine two people on a crossroad, both leads to the same place, just that the one on the left is a straight and smooth road and the one on the right is curvy and rocky road. One took the left and the other took the right.
In the process, the one who took the path on the right had difficult times. He would trip on the rocks and fell, and sometimes he would bleed himself to the sharp rocks. At times, he even regret about taking this road. But in the end, he learn how to stand on his own feet and he became more durable than ever. What doesn't kill you make you stronger, eh?
The one who choose the path on the left had an easy day without a doubt. Butt, he hadn't learn much from his process. Yes, he reach his destination but he would without a doubt be a big-fat-dude.
Needless to say, sane people would chose the one on the left, mainly because it is a lot easier. But, if you ask yourself which on would bring more benefit in the long term, would you take the path on your left or right??
There is a principle i learn when i was young, when you want to receive, you must first give. There is always a cost to everything. Nothing is free in this world. The more you give, the more you receive -(although it don't always apply, but most of the time it does)-
